Closet Organization ft. Ikea Lack Shelves

An organized closet can simplify your daily routine by making it easy to find and access your clothing and accessories. There is nothing like starting your day feeling put-together and in control. I love having a tidy and well-arranged space because it allows me to better visualize outfit combinations, saving me time and boosting my confidence. These benefits are what fueled this walk-in closet project for a family in Columbus, Ohio.

I was excited to make this master bedroom closet more efficient. The client wanted to limit the amount of stuff on the floor but didn't want to have to reach high just to grab a t-shirt. Overall, they wanted their walk-in closet to feel like a walk-in, and I think we did just that.

To achieve the goals of "off-the-floor" and maximizing the space, we painted the walls white and integrated new Lack Shelves from Ikea to create a floating effect. Since they didn't want to have to reach high for key items like a favorite shirt or sweater, we used the shelves to showcase shoes and purses. This allowed those accessories to have a dedicated space that doesn't feel cluttered.

In the end, this master closet in Columbus, Ohio turned out functional and spacious, without requiring a complete (expensive) renovation. If you're dreaming of experiencing the same, contact us today to see how we can take your space to the next level.
